ABOUT THE THREAD SHED.

The Thread Shed opened its doors on June 14, 2007.  Being the only shop of its kind in the area, the Thread Shed has become a staple in the town of Innisfil.  But it hasn’t just set standards in what they are, but also who is behind it.  Lee Wood, owner of the Thread Shed is the youngest entrepreneur in Innisfil at the age of only 16.  Thread Shed is a Skate shop / Clothing store in the heart of Alcona (Innisfil).  Equipped with a Skate ramp, Clothing, Hardgoods and Accessories, The Thread Shed is in a league of its own.

In the short time the Thread Shed has been open it has become a significant part of its community.  Lee (the owner) has made the store part of the co-operative education program for local high-school students.  He uses the program to teach today’s youth the importance of work ethic and independence in today’s business world.
